Have you recently experienced the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a job, a home, or something else deeply meaningful? In the face of such profound changes, it’s natural to feel lost or unsure how to navigate the waves of grief.
As a trained grief tender, I am here to support you as you move through your grief in your own time and in the way that feels right for you. As Martin Prechtel so beautifully says:
“Grief expressed out loud for someone we have lost, or a country or home we have lost, is in itself the greatest praise we could ever give them. Grief is praise, because it is the natural way love honors what it misses.”
Come sit with me, and let me witness and tend to your grief with care, compassion, and reverence. Together, we can honor the love and connection at the heart of your loss.

As a somatic coach, my focus is on helping individuals reconnect with their bodies, enhance body awareness, and integrate physical sensations and emotions into the process of personal growth and healing. The word “somatic” comes from the Greek word “soma,” meaning body, and in this context, it refers to the holistic experience of the body in relation to thoughts, emotions, and behaviours.
Somatic coaching means guiding clients through the practice of body-centered awareness, movement, and sensory exploration to facilitate transformation and healing. This practice acknowledges that the body holds emotional and psychological experiences, often in the form of tension, pain, or unprocessed memories.
In session, I work with you to release, reframe, and integrate these bodily experiences, supporting people in reconnecting with their innate wisdom, sense of safety, and self-expression.
Key Aspects of Somatic Coaching:
Mind-Body Connection – Helping clients tune into how their bodies respond to emotions and experiences.
Embodiment – Supporting clients in inhabiting their bodies fully, shifting from a disembodied or dissociated state to one of deep presence.
Trauma-Informed Practices – Addressing the body’s response to trauma, stress, and grief, and helping the body process these experiences.
Movement and Breath – Using specific practices to release tension, encourage relaxation, and re-establish vitality in the body.
Self-Compassion and Empowerment – Guiding clients in embracing their bodies with care, accepting their physical experiences, and developing personal agency in their healing journey.
With somatics, we’re not just addressing the mind or emotions; I am supporting clients in embracing the wisdom of their bodies as an integral part of their healing and growth.

“Tell me, what is it you plan to do
with your one wild and precious life?”

About my work.
I weave together somatics, herbalism, and grief work to support the whole being—body, mind, and spirit. I also bring elements of meditation and yoga into my practice, grounding healing in both stillness and movement.
My approach is rooted in a Buddhist-Animist worldview, influenced by Eco & Depth Psychology, Parts Work, Somatic Experiencing, Polyvagal Theory, Relational Somatics, and Contemplative Practices. I offer a space where all parts of you — your grief, your rage, your joy —are all welcome. By learning to safely feel, come back to presence, and express all that lives within us, we discover access to our greatest pleasure, joy, and love. Partnering somatics with plants and their medicine creates a channel for deep transformation back into the wilderness of your wise soul.
Alongside this work, I often facilitate rites of passage for those navigating life’s thresholds - especially girls and women - as well as community grief ritual.
This path I walk began over a decade ago as a way to find healing myself, so that I could offer my work to others from an embodied and authentic place. After all, I feel that we cannot guide others where we have not journeyed ourselves.

What guides me.
I believe in the power of intuitive wisdom, community, ritual, nature, and embodiment to guide us through life, death, grief and transformation. My work is not about fixing or transcending pain—it is about deep presence, attunement, and walking alongside you as you find your way.
I currently reside on the ancestral lands of the sḵwx̱wú7mesh Nation on the west coast of so-called Canada. Outside of this work, you’ll often find me gardening, writing, surfing, or dancing—always in conversation with the living world.

“Grief is not a disorder, a disease, or a sign of weakness. It is an emotional, physical, and spiritual necessity, the price you pay for love. The only cure to grief is to grieve.”
